If you want to ask a question before you join the site or our discord,
there is a simple chatbox in the "Toggle Chatbox" section at the very bottom of your screen.
There's also a discord widget, but I'm very new to those. But we do have a fully-functioning Discord server!

The Three Followings
There are three well-established Followings that are led by one individual leader each and have their own set of laws and moral guides. Click on the territory names to be taken to a more detailed post of each Following.
Bewildered Cove is considered a "good" following led by a just and patient ruler.
The Wise Longplains are considered a "neutral" following, and are led by a new leader taking the place of his late mother.
The Lawful Marsh is considered another "neutral/strict" following, led by a very old spinsorus who deals in fairness and justice, never taking sides.

If there was one thing Hashja truly hated, it was others who spoke what they didn't understand. Yet, someone exactly like that was due for a visit and to give a report. Over-due, actually. With a sigh befitting a tired mother, Hashja's lower set of wings carried her in a faux display that suggested four legs, not two, as she glanced at the other members. Everyone seemed calm today, minding their own business or conversing with a friend or family member. She made sure to keep half her attention on where she stepped, and half searching for trouble. She was the Speaker of their Bewilderbeast Queen, it was her job to ensure everything that could need the queen's attention was promptly taken care of. Hashja of course handled small matters like bickering or slacking off, leaving outright disrespectful behavior to her queen.
After awhile of feeling the shore and those there were not having issues, she turned and started further inland, her tail dragging behind her lazily. She hated this part of the moon cycle. Most of the nursery aids were laid-back or cheerful in general, obviously making dealing with kids easy for them. But there was one aid, only one, that had a special way of making the stormcutter's body tense in preparation for a fight. Both to and against her fortune, that particular aid was the closest. Good, that meant Hashja could get in, get the report, and get out. She raised her head and called across the several feet between them, "Goki'ina!" Her voice was loud and a bit raspy - gruff like a grumpy old woman, so she'd been told. It only took a moment for a long, dark purple head to rise from the sand, currently by herself. Odd, kids were usually with her for her fun games.
Hashja stopped just in front of the skrill, staring down at her expectantly. "You are late for your report." Hashja quickly got the point, then looked past the nursery aid to ask, "And where are the young? I rarely hear of you seeking a break. Is everything alright, Goki'ina?" The larger dragon asked with a softer, almost concerned tone. Seeing this hot-head alone and trying to sleep mid-day was not unheard of, but that was usually reserved for summer. As a species native to colder climates, all the skrills in the cove would grow sluggish in the summer, and the queen would make them a small nest with her icy breath to cool off. For now, Hashja settled her eyes back on the dragon in question, waiting for an explanation.
